The sjambok ( pronounced, sham bok) is an official police issue , crowd control device in Africa. We added a nice leather braided handle and turks head knots to it, and a wrist loop. It is made of solid molded synthetic material that is washable. It is used as a cane would be, not as a flogger . Color choices for the handle are red, blue, black, brown, purple and some metallics if available.
